My Journey<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Born in El Salvador to a multicultural family in which several languages were spoken (Hungarian, French, Spanish, and English), I was immersed from a really young age in the fascinating world of languages. The experience of living in various countries and continents has granted me a special language and culture sensitivity. <\/h3>\n

 <\/h3>\n

My initial training as a language professional began as a simultaneous interpreter for The Feuerstein Institute. I later worked alongside major publishers, such as Harcourt Brace and Pearson, in the development, translation, editing and review of statewide assessments for LEP, ESL and other Spanish speaking students. For over 25 years, I have also translated more than 100 children’s books for diverse publishers and other pieces of writing from English to Spanish.<\/h3>\n

I hold an MA in Journalism with a minor in Writing from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BA in Philosophy & Liberal Arts with a minor in English Literature & Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I have also completed an intensive workshop emphasizing Spanish translation and revision with renowned translator Leandro Wolfson. <\/h3>\n

I currently live in Panama. In my free time, I enjoy practicing Tai Chi, Qigong, reading, writing poetry, watching British comedies and meeting people from different cultures. <\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
